During the period September 7 to 10, 2011 in Scherbinka outside of Moscow the most important broad gauge (1520 mm, 5 ft.) railway exhibition was held. AXTONE was one of the companies exhibiting at the Fair among the 417 companies from 25 countries that participated in the Exhibition. Jointly with LLMZ KAMAX (AXTONE’s joint-venture in Russia) presented its technical applications for broad gauge (1520 mm) railways.

The visitors had the opportunity to get familiar with the technical solutions offered by AXTONE for this market. Typical absorbing equipment of class T2 and T3 and many other kinds of shock absorbing solutions that are supplied to customers for this region were presented. New solutions and applications were presented as well – shock absorber of class T1 and the prototype of the Crash Element for central coupler, that was a major hit among visitors.

The main advantages of the technical solution applied to this equipment is its high efficiency and ideal characteristic, high capability to absorb offset impacts and stability of parameters proven by more than 80 test-crashes.

Besides a complete offer for components for railway vehicles, AXTONE company presented also an equipment that is dedicated to the infrastructure sector. That is the active distributed brake for tracks were shunting movements are conducted.
