A passenger car buffer equipped with a crash module designed for Indian Railways. IP300 IR uses the same crash technology as other crash buffer IP series designated for freight cars. The crash module is able to absorb over 300 kJ. Design of the IP300 buffer enables its fixing without any changes in the headstock, additionally working of crash module during the accident has no influence to its work after impact (in the range of reversible stroke). IP 300 buffer is a perfect solution for modernising passenger cars, as well as for increasing the railway stock safety.
